Business Controller / Accounting (m/f/d)
What activities can you expect:

• Responsibility for finance and accounting as well as controlling within the company, including bookings and recording of business transactions
• Optimization of internal processes and structures in finance/accounting and controlling, as well as the introduction of modern business controlling charts
• Implementation of KPI-based reporting (e.g., Power BI)
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L, liquidity planning, and balance sheets, as well as the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets
• Participation in project teams for the adaptation of an ERP system and definition of the corresponding processes
• Sparring partner for management on all commercial topics
• International collaboration with the parent company in the USA
What you bring:
• Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance, controlling, or comparable experience
• Excellent numerical understanding and the ability to analyze deviations and their causes, as well as derive actions as a basis for financial strategy decisions
• Proficient in relevant financial software (Datev) and business intelligence systems (e.g., Power BI)
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in a manufacturing company, e.g., in mechanical engineering
• Very good knowledge in accounting, financial reporting, and the preparation of annual financial statements and reports
• High level of initiative and integrity combined with entrepreneurial thinking and business acumen
• Strong IT affinity
• Fluent in German and English
• Dynamic personality with a ''can-do'' mentality
• Enjoyment of international work and occasional travel
